The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Table

Since the launch of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master the talented storyteller has maintained audience suspense with rich lore, a colorful mix of characters, and a gripping narrative including angels, evil spirits, and malevolent powers growing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Warning: Spoilers for the third episode of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Warrior Group Revealed

The latest chapter concluded with a dramatic pause and revealed the first table of characters who will branch out from the primary party to begin their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

The Soldiers table features the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the nimble rogue (the talented performer), Tyranny (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the start that having everyone at a single group would be unfeasible.

Hence, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Introduction, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three smaller tables: Warriors, Planners, and Questers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy story mode where diplomatic options are rare.

Upon first impression, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might look out of place, but the actions of episode 3 demonstrate why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Why They Must Go

For one thing, the group has a clear idea where to head next after a brutal initial meeting with the enemy group.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose passing kicked off the narrative’s action—exploited the foes for his own means, invading Thjazi’s hideout, attacking Thimble, and taking all the powerful objects to auction.

The antagonist then paid off his debts and ran away to a secure base in the remote area, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd close behind.

Character Drivers

Additionally, each character has a specific drive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • Thimble, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, seeks retribution.
  • Kattigan knows Timmony and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • Yet, their status as important members in House Halovar could assist the group reach locations they usually can’t.
  • Moreover, The grateful character pledged a unbreakable promise to The cleric for his deliverance and will now accompany him everywhere.

Fugitives

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the authorities that rule the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city too risky:

  • Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The healer betrayed the powerful family and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by the clan.

This leaves them few options but to head to the northern region in search of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

Based on the latest episode’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around next week, leaving the remaining eight participants to assemble the Questers and Strategists tables.

Viewers can anticipate finding out which players will be in which group in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, released on October 24.
